What data we process and why

Emails you send us. If you write to hello@gi20capital.com, we process your name, your email address and the information you include (for example, the presentation of your project). The purpose is to answer your message and, if you present a project, to assess it as a possible investment. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering the requests we receive and, where relevant, steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (article 6.1.f and 6.1.b GDPR).

Web analytics. Only if you accept it in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics to get statistics about how the website is used (pages visited, type of device, approximate location). The legal basis is your consent (article 6.1.a GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time with the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.

We do not use your data for automated decisions or profiling.

How long we keep it

We keep emails for the time needed to answer your request and, after that, for the periods required by law. Google Analytics data is kept for a maximum of 14 months.

Recipients and providers

We do not share your data with third parties, unless the law requires it. To run the website and email we use these providers, which process data on our behalf:

  • Google (Firebase Hosting, Google Analytics and Gmail).
  • Amazon Web Services (receiving and forwarding email, in the European Union).

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In that case, the transfer is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability by writing to hello@gi20capital.com. If you think we have not handled your data correctly, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
