GI20 Capital started in 2025, when 16 entrepreneurs from Girona decided to invest together in the next generation of founders. We know how hard the first years of a company are, because we have lived them.

We work as a club deal: the partners invest their own money together through GI20 Capital, and give their time and experience to the founders we back.

    Our partners have founded, scaled and sold companies, and have worked as CTOs, M&A lawyers and investors. Whatever your problem is, one of us has probably seen it before.

    We are a small group that invests its own money. You talk directly with the partners, and we decide in a short, informal partner vote. No long processes or bureaucracy.

Our investment thesis

We invest at pre-seed and seed, often before the product or the revenue is proven. So we look mainly at the team and at how it thinks.

  • Founders who know the problem

    You have lived the problem or know the market from inside, and you have a clear view on how to solve it.

  • Technology at the core

    Software, data or hardware that makes the product much better, not only a bit cheaper.

  • Ambition beyond Spain

    A plan to sell in other countries early on. Several of us built global companies from Girona.

  • Speed of execution

    You ship, talk to customers and learn every week, even with few resources.

  • First-time founders welcome

    Your track record matters less than your drive and how fast you learn.

  • Where we help most

    We look at any sector, but we add most value in B2B software, fintech, health, energy and hardware, where our partners have built companies.
